Description
Acrylic on paper. This work explores the dualities of human experience—abundance and emptiness, contentment and yearning. Using unconventional tools like scissors and cups, I juxtapose fullness and void, with each object symbolizing an aspect of these states. The scissors, sharp and definitive, represent reduction, separation, or the act of cutting away excess, revealing what is essential. Meanwhile, the cups serve as vessels of fulfillment, their forms implying potential to hold or lack, depending on their state. Together, these elements create a dynamic interplay, prompting viewers to reflect on how we define and navigate these contrasting facets of existence.
